I have always enjoyed caring for children and have been a FDC Educator for fifteen years; five years in Ballarat and ten years in Mount Martha. My husband has always been very supportive in my endeavours and is always looking at ways to help me create a safe and fun environment. We have five adult children and eleven wonderful grandchildren; all of whom enjoy coming to visit. In 2007 I received my Certificate 111 in Children’s Services and have never stopped learning! I am always open to new ideas on how to improve my service and place a lot of importance on implementing policies and procedures. I enjoy the challenge of fulfilling the physical and emotional needs of the children in my care, while giving them a sense of belonging and I have a flexible daily plan, based on the children’s interests, which stresses play for both fun and learning. I love nature and enjoy doing craft.
