Our Service's

Bambini provides convenient and local family day care for 0-5 year olds and school aged children by trained and accredited carers in their own homes. This intimate home-based care has a maximum of just four children aged 0-5 at any one time allowing our carers to attend to the individual needs of each child as well as meeting the demands of busy families by providing care when and where it is needed.

Bambini also providers of In Home Care, a service that enables eligible applicants access to a funded nanny in the convenience of their own home.

Very flexible care hours include business hours, overnight, weekend, 24 hour, before/after school and vacation care.

Bambini provides “approved care” which can entitle users to child care benefit of up to $5.00 per hour, per child (33% more than other forms of child care) as well as the 50% child care tax rebate. Fees set by carers vary but on average range from $6 - $9 per hour. After applying eligible child care benefit fee reductions and the 50% child care tax rebate, net fees paid by the parent may be as little as $1.40 per hour!

Registered and Safe

Bambini and each individual carer is registered under the federal government legislative framework as well as the National Childcare Accreditation Council. Bambini and each carer are fully insured and participate in a rigorous Quality Assurance programme that follows the National Standards for family day care.

Through regular home visits, monthly training sessions, spot checks and on-line information, Bambini will ensure that your child is in a warm and secure environment with stimulating and positive experiences and interactions that will foster all aspects of their development. We will also provide age appropriate routines and guidelines to ensure all children's needs are met. With the provision of resources, toys, equipment and art materials, our carers will offer the highest standard of care and education in a family environment.
 

Management

Bambini is managed by founder Emma McCarthy, a qualified early childhood professional and teacher who has worked in the field of child care for over 12 years. Emma has managed long day care centres in Melbourne and abroad, including an exclusive international pre school in Hong Kong . She also held a long term position as team leader at a prestigious private school early learning centre in Melbourne.

A mother of three, Emma has seen the growing need for a more flexible child care option in Melbourne and has taken family day care to a new level with enormous support offered to carers by Bambini.

Bambini's coordinator is Cindy Fraser, a qualified early childhood educator with over 12 years experience in various formal and informal early childhood settings throughout Melbourne. Cindy, now a mother to three young children, enjoys providing our carers with resources, training and support to assist them in their daily care and education of children.

Lucy Lewis is Bambini's In Home Care coordinator. Lucy is a mother to three beautiful young children and has 20 years experience as a pediatric nurse.

Lee Livingston is our super organised and ever efficient office manager. Lee will most likely be the first person you speak to when you contact us at Bambini.

Bambini currently boasts three wonderful field officers, Karin Gebleux, Stephanie Hutchinson, Melissa Stubbe and Rachel Hunter, each of these girls have their own children of different ages and do a wonderful job of managing our carers and their families.
